2025 Malara Gardens Green Chile Cook-Off!

Here are the rules for our 2nd Annual Green Chile Cook-Off

Fill out the information below and submit your intention to participate in the cook-off. You may prepare any kind of chile recipe you like for the contest with the stipulation that the green chiles are purchased from Malara Gardens. Upon entering the contest, you will receive a confirmation notice and you will receive a coupon for $15 off a bushel of Roasted Chile. You will be asked to bring in a crock pot full of your chile by 10:30am on Sat Sept 13. You do not need to be present for the duration of the contest. Customers will be tasting and judging from 11-2. You will be asked to return to the store at 2:15 for the announcement of the winners, photos, and to take your crockpot home. You will need to provide a written or typed copy of your recipe- general ingredients are all thats required, we are not asking for measurements or super secret ingredients. We just want to give folks an idea if there may be allergens involved.

1st place winner receives a $100 Malara Gardens Gift Card

2nd place winner receives a $50 Malara Gardens Gift Card

3rd place winner receives a $25 Malara Gardens Gift Card

We are limited to 10 crock pots so get your entry turned in quickly! Once we have 10 contestants, the submission form will be turned off.
